This isn’t just a program or a club—it’s a movement, a healing space, and a home for students like you.
This space was created out of love—for my 19-year-old son, for my students, and for every young person who’s ever felt unseen, underestimated, or out of place in systems that weren’t made for us.
Named after my mother, Ms. Angelia—a woman full of grace, fire, and wisdom—this room carries her legacy. And now, it carries yours too
Expect real talk, real community, and a space where you can just be.
Expect healing, hype, and moments that remind you of your power.
Expect workshops, meet-ups, creative spaces, opportunities to collaborate and coordinate, and love that doesn’t ask you to earn it.
No pressure to be perfect. Just permission to be you.
So pull up. Tap in. Be part of the room.
You’re not just joining a program—you’re stepping into a legacy.
Join the BSU. Find your flow. Build with us.
Our students are our heart—but every movement needs a strong foundation. The Bassline is for parents, caregivers, and community members who want to support from a place of care. Like in music, the bassline holds it all together. Your time, resources, and presence help us create space where young people thrive.
